"Rossoscura®" · “Enlightenment”
To tell you the truth, I make this beer, I appreciate it, but I don't understand it at all.
For example, it has been proven that in certain situations it can trigger unexpected hot flashes in the drinker. In others, it has no such effect, but some people become addicted to it. There are those who find it more bitter, while others think it is less bitter. Some say it's exceptional because it 'leaves the system' immediately, while many are convinced of the opposite: it's exceptional because it lingers so long before you…
People who drink a lot of it say it doesn't go to their head, except Luca, who dragged himself out of the place, mumbling that he needed a breath of fresh air when I offered him one for the road. A person capable of such admirable behavior is a true Rossoscura® drinker: one who has achieved "Consapevolezza"…enlightenment, which is its nickname.
Technical Chart:
Rossoscuro® is a rather dry double malt red beer produced by way of infusion, with 5.7% alcohol by volume (15.1 Plato degrees). A smaller amount of hops (only Hallertauer Magnum) compared to Tipopils® is added, but Rossoscura® has a rather bitter taste due to the use of roasted malt.
After a rather long primary fermentation phase, the beer is matured for two to three weeks .

Ingredients:
Water, partially softened to reach a total hardness of approximately 20 French degrees.

Hops: only one type is used, Hallertauer Magnum. Aromatic hops are not used because this beer's body and aroma must come from malt

malti tipo Pilsener, Monaco, Caramello e Torrefatto di provenienza tedesca e francese

lPilsener, Munich, caramel and roasted malts from Germany and France.
Saccharomyces carlsbergensis brewer's yeast from the laboratories of the Brewery University of Baviera (Weihenstephan). The yeast is the same type used for Tipopils®, but the one used for Rossoscura® is adapted over time for a stronger wort. Thus, the yeast used for Tipopils® cannot be used for Rossoscuro® because it would be placed under stress and the beer would not be the same .

Rossoscura

Rossoscura® was produced between April 3, 1996 and October 27, 1997, and it very well might return in the near future for special occasions.
