DARK HOPPY LAGER
NIGREDO

NIGREDO, BLACKER THAN THE BLACKEST BLACK

The Alchemist’s Opus Nigrum, a seducing darkness where all the things find their origin. Nigredo is an intense experience, dedicated to those always in search of something: it is brewed with hops that are partly roasted, for a unique aroma profile. The roasting of the hops is a process invented at the Alchemic Workshop in Limido Comasco, thanks to our brewers and their unrelenting will to explore reality – a successful experiment, the act of transformation per se, the Phoenix taking over the World.

“In the beginning it was Darkness – a seducing darkness where the origin of things found its purpose. Nigredo is the meeting point where the elements fuse, where the research becomes harmony, vital spark, bravery.”

More about this beer

Crowned with a massive off-white and brown-speckled frothy head, Nigredo is a satisfying and refreshing craft italian lager.

The flavor reunites the flavor of roasted hops together with hints of freshly ground coffee, of pure cocoa mass, of chicory.

Pairings

Ideal setting: Generous and inspirational, Nigredo is suitable both for meditation and conviviality. Sip it in the silence of your studio or at the bar.

Food: Enjoy this beer together with charcoal-roasted pork meats, or with unusual dishes counting among their ingredients at least one among bitter cocoa, eggplants or coffee powder.
