The tulip goblet is a large glass, with a diameter that tapers as it rises and then reopens near the edge. The flared profile allows for aromas to be retained while the everted hem supports the foam and conforms to the lips. Equipped with a stem that is not too thin and small in size, it has a rather wide circular foot. It is recommended for beers with a very developed aromatic profile such as abbey beers and Belgian ales but also for hopped beers such as American and India Pale Ale.

“Floral and rich in aroma, it is ideal for a summer “siesta” or as an aperitif at sunset. A unique beer, it takes the weight off all earthly matters”.

More about this beer

Vivid amber in color, with orange nuances and a pinkish-hued head, Fleurette is a top-fermented craft ale brewed with rosebuds, elderflower syrup, black pepper and orange flower honey. The taste is surprising, with a floral, clean aroma which reminds of rose, violet and wisteria; which culminate in a fruity finish reminiscing of sweet orange, apricot and medlar. Taste is slightly acidic, floral, rich.

It is brewed with a special mix of English and German malts and a hefty percentage of rye malt. The right moment to drink this beer is within 5 months from bottling. Store below 10ºC, drink at about 8-10°C.

Pairings

Ideal setting: A picnic, a sunny day, an evening aperitif in the countryside or at the seaside.

Food: It is not easily paired with food – except for fish, especially if raw. Perfect for fresh fruit buffets, particularly with nectarine peaches and canteloupes.

Other: Enjoy together with a medium-strength Cuban cigar.
