More about this beer
Straw golden in color, with a fine-grained and abundant lacing froth, Delia is an Italian craft lager beer brewed for the Summer with Floor Malts and a peculiar variety of German hops. Nose is floral, fruity, herbal and endowed with a resinous/balsamic finish; typical of the hops. Flavor confirms these sensations while adding a honey-like taste given by the old-fashioned floor-kilned malts.
The finish is balsamic and lighlty bitter. The right moment to drink this beer is within 5 months from bottling. Store below 10ºC, drink at about 8-10°C.
Pairings
Ideal setting: A picnic with friends in a sunny day, while enjoying a sparkling, chilled, pleasing mood.
Food: Pair with delicate bloomy rind cheeses, such as young Brie, or smoked buffalo mozzarella and fresh goat cheeses. Perfect with spicy southeast Asian or Indian food, original with fruit and white chocolate-based desserts.
